Millennium Tour
Erected on the Croix-Scaille plateau, the Millennium Tower, a spectacular 60 m high belvedere in the shape of an hourglass, marks the highest point in the province and the 5th in Belgium (503 m).
Inspired by history (four towers have existed on this summit at various times), this creation makes it possible to discover for free a fabulous landscape over more than 30 km around using an orientation table and a telescope.
The stairs provide access to three viewing platforms located 15, 30 and 45 meters away, respectively.
The site is open all year round except during hunting periods in this territory, in bad weather or if the access road is reserved for cross-country skiing.
At the foot of the Tower, the Croix-Scaille tourist reception chalet offers seasonal maps, tourist documentation, ice cream, refreshments and games for children.
The Millennium Tower site is also the starting point or transit point for many marked walks. Also, don't miss the walk on gratings in the Fange de l'Abîme nature reserve, where there is a flora particularly associated with peaty and acidic soils. Elf, a network of discoveries, will also delight children and the greatest adventure seekers!
